 WHAT TO EXPECT AT CBK: A BRIEF CONSIGNMENT OVERVIEW

*FIRST-TIME CONSIGNORS: PLEASE TAKE A FEW MINUTES TO REVIEW THE INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE BOOKING*

Due to the constant fluctuations of the secondhand market, we neither buy nor price items upon intake. Our appraisal process is conducted by chronological order of drop-off date. Consignors are e-mailed proposed pricing once their intake has been reviewed. Consigned merchandise that is brand-new or new-with-tags will follow the same process.

Our pricing is not only based on condition, brand value, and trend, but also determined by comparative and competitive market & inventory analysis.   
Each consignor has 48 hours to confirm pricing after their item list has been e-mailed. If our PRICING TEAM does not hear back from the consignor within the 48-HOUR window, we will presume the list satisfactory and our TEAM will begin prepping items for the selling floor. 

  

 RESCHEDULING & CANCELLATION POLICY

Please understand that no shows, cancellations, and rescheduling requests  result in lost opportunities for other clients to consign. Please note the following:

  • IN-STORE CONSIGNMENT APPOINTMENTS will now require card info from the consignor prior to booking in case of NO SHOW. Consignors will only be charged $1.00 upfront, with no additional charges unless the consignor fails to show.
  • Consignors may reschedule or cancel their appointment up to 48-HOURS before their scheduled time.
  • A non-refundable $50 NO-SHOW FEE will be charged to the card on-file if the consignor misses their scheduled appointment. 
  • Consignors who are late by 30 MINUTES OR MORE to their scheduled appointment (even with proper notification) might not be accommodated and have to rebook through the online scheduling system. While we will do our absolute best to incorporate late arrivals, please understand that our appointment schedule is back-to-back and quite full.

    • PLEASE ARRIVE TO YOUR APPOINTMENT WITH YOUR MERCHANDISE COMPACTLY FOLDED (BAGS/BOXES/SUITCASES). NO NEED TO BRING ANY HANGERS, GARMENT BAGS AND PLASTIC COVERINGS, SHOEBOXES OR SHOE BAGS.
